About the event
Join Evolve Fitness to build strength & endurance while your child engages in fun, unique and creative art projects next door with The Art Stand staff. Â We will have a new theme each week. Â Your child must be potty trained and ok to hang at the Art Stand with staff during the 30min workout class. Â Children must be 4 or older, Â and potty trained. Â
$22 for 1 adult and 1 child.Â
Additional child $10 each.
Sign up required at least 1 day in advance and are limited so sign up early. Â
*Drop your child off to get them settled at The Art Stand first at 10:30am 5165 Northland Dr. NE Gran Rapids MI 49525 before walking next door to Evolve at 5163 Northland Dr where your exercise class will begin promptly at 10:45am.Â
The following are the themes each week for the classes:Â
Gain & Gumball Machines: July 12: 10:30-11:15am
Launch your way to a stronger body while your child makes and paints their very own gumball machines made with terracotta flower pots.
Get Ready To Move! July 19: 10:30-11:15am
Get ready to move by stretching your limits in a pilates inspired Barre class while you take small muscles with a large range of motion to increase strength, length and heart rate. During this time your child stretches their limits by combining creativity & technology to create their very own Moving Noodle Robot next door with staff at The Art Stand.
Transform & Tie Dye Tile Art: August 2: 10:30-11:15am Transform your body by bridging the gap between cardio and strength through cycling and Barre. Your child will transform ordinary tiles into a tie dyed masterpiece next door with staff from the Art Stand.
Align & Mosaic Tile Picture Frames: August 9: 10:30-11:15am Align & refresh your body & soul with yoga flow designed to give everyone the opportunity to breathe, lengthen and reflect. Your child will use mosaic tiles to align patterns to make a colorful picture frame with the staff from the Art Stand next door.
Bring on the Battle, Burn & Brawl: August 16: 10:30-11:15am Engage your inner fighter while you reshape your body & attitude by combining cardio martial arts with tools to build strength for everyday life.,Your child will engage in their own battle of tic tac toe after they make their very own Wood Slice Tic Tac Toe board next door with staff from The Art Stand.
